What's New?
Last winter,
Vivienne learned (from a native Chinese teacher) a 2000-year-old technique
called
Gong-bi; it
involves painting with calligraphy ink and many thin water-color layers on
imported
Chinese silk.
Although the images here show these silk paintings unframed, what you would get
is
custom-framed
under glass. Some clients have bought
two or three as they make a lovely display
when grouped. Vivienne is currently the only professional
artist in Colorado presenting these
paintings; they
are unique.
